This Booking Policy explains how availability requests, booking inquiries and confirmed bookings work at Sunchaser Yacht.
By submitting a request through this website, contacting us directly or proceeding with a booking, you agree to this Booking Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.
1. Booking requests
Submitting a request through this website does not automatically create a confirmed booking.
All bookings are subject to availability, operational acceptance and written confirmation by Sunchaser Yacht.
2. Availability
All yacht experiences, dates, routes and services are offered subject to availability.
Availability may change at any time before confirmation.
Sunchaser Yacht reserves the right to refuse or decline a booking request where a requested date, route, weather condition, operational factor or service requirement cannot be reasonably fulfilled.
3. When a booking is confirmed
A booking is considered confirmed only when all of the following have taken place:
- availability has been checked
- the requested yacht experience has been accepted
- any required deposit or payment has been received
- written confirmation has been sent by Sunchaser Yacht
Until written confirmation is issued, a request remains an inquiry only.
4. Information we may require
To process an availability request or booking, we may ask for the following information:
- full name
- email address
- phone number
- preferred date
- number of guests
- selected service or trip
- preferred route or destination
- any relevant special requests or notes
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate and complete.
5. Prices and quotations
Any quote, estimate or indication of price is subject to confirmation unless clearly stated otherwise.
Before a contract is concluded, consumers in the EU must be given clear, correct and understandable pre-contract information about the service, price and other key terms.
Sunchaser Yacht reserves the right to update prices, service details, routes, inclusions or conditions before a booking is confirmed.
6. Deposits and payments
A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a booking.
The exact payment amount, timing and payment method will be communicated during the booking process.
If payment is not received within the required time, Sunchaser Yacht may release the requested date or service without further obligation.
7. Changes to bookings
Requests to change a confirmed booking, including the date, number of guests, route or selected service, are subject to availability and approval by Sunchaser Yacht.
Additional charges may apply depending on the requested change.
Sunchaser Yacht cannot guarantee that all requested changes can be accommodated.
8. Tailored and custom experiences
Cruises Tailored to your Needs and other custom arrangements may require additional planning, coordination or third-party arrangements.
For these services, specific booking terms, pricing conditions or payment rules may apply and will be communicated before confirmation.
9. Specific-date services and withdrawal rights
Under EU consumer rules, consumers often have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. However, that standard right does not apply in the same way to certain leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Where a Sunchaser Yacht experience is booked for a specific date or period, the applicable exception for time-specific leisure services may apply, as permitted by law.
10. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate information
- reviewing booking details carefully
- ensuring that all guests are aware of the agreed experience details
- arriving on time at the agreed departure point
- following all safety and onboard instructions
Failure to provide accurate information may affect the booking and may result in delays, changes or cancellation.
11. Safety, weather and operational conditions
All yacht experiences are subject to weather, sea conditions, safety requirements and operational feasibility.
Sunchaser Yacht reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel a booking where necessary for safety or operational reasons.
In such cases, Sunchaser Yacht will make reasonable efforts to offer:
- a rescheduled date
- an adjusted route or service
- another suitable solution
- a refund, where applicable under the confirmed terms
12. Cancellations
Customer cancellations and refund rights are governed by the applicable cancellation terms communicated during booking and by the Cancellation Policy.
Customers should review the Cancellation Policy carefully before proceeding with a booking.
13. Communication
All important booking matters, including availability, confirmation, payment terms, booking changes and cancellations, should be made or confirmed in writing.
Sunchaser Yacht may communicate with customers by email, phone or other agreed contact method during the booking process.
14. Refusal of service
Sunchaser Yacht reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking request where necessary for legal, operational or safety reasons, including where inaccurate information has been provided or the requested service cannot be performed safely or reasonably.
